Effective November 15, 2021, paper copies of vaccine records without QR codes are no longer valid.
The science centre is following Alberta's Restriction Exemption Program and as such, guests ages 12 and over must show:
- Proof of Full Vaccination (14 days from second dose) with QR Code Generated from the Covid Records Homepage OR
- Proof of a Negative COVID 19 Test Result (within 72 hours). Tests must be from a private test provider and not from Alberta Health Services or Alberta Precision Laboratories.
All QR codes are required to be verified against a valid piece of government photo ID for those ages 18 and over. Guests ages 12 -17 only need to provide the QR code. All Albertans can receive a free printed copy from any Alberta Registries office.
Masks are required
For the safety of employees and guests, and as per Government of Alberta's public health orders
, TELUS Spark will require all guests over the age of 2 to wear a mask while indoors (including the Dome) at Spark. Masks will not be required outdoors in the Brainasium Outdoor Park. If there is a reason a guest cannot wear a mask, they will be asked to inform the staff upon arrival.
